Library

• All the students of Std. VI to XII may borrow books from the library.


• Strict silence shall be observed in the library and the reading room.


• Students who keep books longer than the time permitted will be fined.


• The attention of the librarian should be drawn to the damage of books about to be borrowed.


• Each pupil is entitled to take out on loan one book at a time while each teacher is entitled to take out two books at a time and keep the same for 15 days. Periodicals, publications, Dictionaries, Guides and other costly reference books shall not be lent out.


• Issue of books may be suspended at any time by order of the principal.


• Books should be wrapped and used.


• All books taken from the library should be returned two week before the examinations.


• Books are not to be retained during major vacations.


• All articles and personal belongings must be left outside when entering the library. Only a copy book and a library book, if it is to be returned, may be taken into the library.
