School Uniform
Mt. Assisi believes in the sacred responsibility of inculcating in the young pupils a sense of cleanliness and social adjustment. The students have to come neatly and decently dressed in their school uniform which is as follows:
Boys – brown shorts/trousers (traditional), white shirt, blue striped necktie, school belt, black leather shoes with lace and white socks.
Girls – Dark brown pinafores/skirts, white shirt, blue striped necktie, school belt, black leather shoes and white socks.
- In winter, students must wear V-necked red sweaters.
- Prescribed School bags are to be used by the students for bringing books to the class.
- On Saturdays the students shall wear House Jerseys.
- Students of VI to XII should have their maroon blazers with the school logo in winter.
- The Plus Two students have a different uniform.
- Girls must braid hair into two halves and tie them neatly.
The girls of Nursery & KG. shall wear a dark brown skirt according to the pattern, approved by the school.
- On Mondays and Fridays the students of classes I – XII shall wear white uniform, with white shoes.
- Boys of Classes VI – X shall wear trousers and Nursery to V shorts only.
- A student who is not properly dressed and groomed may be excluded from the class / fined or sent back home.
- School Bags are to be used by the students for bringing books into the class.
- Wearing of uniform in the school every day is compulsory for all under penalty of expulsion from class. Children should therefore, be provided with sufficient sets of uniform.
Whenever students visit the school they shall be in school uniform.
- Personal cleanliness is very essential. The fingernails should be trimmed and unpolished, hands menhandi free and the shoes be polished daily. Wristwatch, Bangles, hair pin,
rings, ornaments, jewellery, money etc. are not allowed in the school.
